Please note: All buildings are priced without floors, come in plain timber, with fixed windows. Delivery, opening windows, additional features and construction are all at an additional cost

Framework

This is constructed using 3 x 2 CLS timbers spaced at 2ft centres. 4 x 2 PAR timbers are available for larger buildings such as double garages and living accommodation.

*All buildings are built 6ft 6 to eves as standard but additional height can be added if required.

Cladding

Premium quality 16 x 125 Shiplap (kiln dried plain) profiled Scandinavian redwood.
Please note: This is a very good quality cladding with fewer knots and less splits than the cheaper white wood that most other manufacturers use in their buildings.

Please note: Tanalised cladding is no longer available. Due to the cladding being pressure treated, there is a high moisture content, which results in considerable shrinkage, and has a tendency to bow and split. The additional movement also causes knotholes to appear. Tanalised timber is often used to cover up stained and inferior graded cladding and will need a breather membrane to stop draughts and water penetration. These membranes are very flammable due to the bitumen content and can cause a fire hazard. These reasons are why we no longer use tanalised cladding.

All our cladding is good quality, graded timber and will last a long time if treated at regular intervals.

Roofs

Our roofs consist of heavy-duty trusses (the wider the building the more substantial the truss) with 4 x 2 purlins, onto which a 18mm exterior ply deck is secured and finished with 38kg mineralised felt.
The unique design is far more substantial than other manufacturers offer and will not sag or dip over a period of time.

Doors 

Doors are framed, hedged and braced as standard, double doors are 4ft 10 with 18 galvanised tee hinges with an 8” brandon bolt, with fixings for a padlock.
These doors are more substantial than most other manufacturers standard buildings and come with our ranges including sale price at no extra cost.

All of our buildings are quality checked before delivery.

Floor

Priced separately to the building are only suitable if you already have an existing solid base, the floor consists of plain 3x2 joists spaced at 2ft centres, with 18mm exterior ply boards.

Decks

Comprised of 4 x 2 tanalised framework with joists running both across and lengthways, with 18mm exterior ply boards. Decks are frequently used as a preference to a concrete base, and far more cost effective. Another advantage is the building can be moved to another location and re-assembled.
